How do you ensure that my private data and information is secure and not shared?
Since 2021, Bunkerchain is ISO/IEC 27001:2013 certified. ISO/IEC 27001 is a security standard that outlines the controls, requirements and best practices for secure information security management systems (ISMS).
Sensitive data is encrypted in a secure database and data transfer is encrypted with SSL/TLS.
This ensures that data can only be accessed by authorised users with the right permissions.
After signing the document, how do you ensure that the document has not been tampered or modified?
Touch & Sail eBDNs are electronic, and can only be signed by verified digital identities and credentials.
The signed documents will be locked and tamper-proofed so that changes can no longer be made.
A unique hash code of that document will also be generated and stored.
Thus, we will be able to verify if the document has been changed or not.
What if the receiving vessel I’m working with does not have Touch and Sail? Will the eBDN still work? Is a Touch and Sail account mandatory?
If the receiving vessel does not have Touch and Sail, they will receive an email with the eBDN before and after the completion of a transaction.
If you have a Touch and Sail account, you will get even better visibility on the status of all your vessels’ jobs, such as “Pending”, “Accepted”, “In Progress”, “Completed” and “Cancelled” jobs.
